Workin' On Layout  
Post for Style Layout/Colouration Tests

This is taking a while.

Damn, I wish they had 'Flexible Squares' here... that would make everything a zillion times easier. I'd import it if I could, but it's not meant to be Opensource, so I dunno if it'd be right.

Nrrrrgh... just want a simple and fully editable layout which allows me to insert a header picture whilst also having the journal title displayed. Fact is, I'm not an expert at coding... I know how to fiddle around with the basics, but don't want to mess with any of the other stuff in case I mess it up completely.

Damn damn damn.

Wow, nice to see ya here, hun.

What is it you want help with exactly? If it's layouts that you wanna fiddle around with, then I'll direct you to THIS post by mintyapple. It's possible to import a number of different LJ themes if you'd rather work with them as opposed to the pre-existing styles (the transferrable LJ themes are: 3column, a novel conundrum, bloggish, expressive, flexible squares, mixit, nebula, smooth sailing, style contest & tranquility ii)... I almost always use flexible squares for my layouts so I imported it for this. mintyapple also has a few pre-made themes for the existing styles as well. Otherwise, everything pretty-much works the same as LJ here.

I ttly didn't plan to come over here, and I probably won't use the account unless I have to (as a backup or something maybe), but it seemed churlish not to use the code once she'd already sent me it XD

Thank you :3 I did have a tinker with the layout after I commented, I think it'll do for now, but I'll keep that stuff in mind. Flexible Squares is my favourite too.

Yeah, I was surprised to see you actually ended up getting an account at all. But yeah, might as well use up the invite code if ya get one *grins*.

The pink is PRETTEH! Tis lookin' good, hun. If you need any more help with the layout/e.t.c. I'd be happy to help. Flexible Squares is excellent for customising.
